Objectives

Apply Ms Excel to organize data, use operators to build well-structured formulas to efficiently process examination data, students’ loans data, finance and accounts related data and produce useful reports and charts • Use text functions such as conditional formatting to sort out duplicates, clean-up and consolidate, loans data, accounts data and examination data imported from external databases • Work with logical functions to compute and produce reliable examination, loans and admission data • Apply LOOK UP functions to handle loans from examination data for uploading to HESLB with error free and produce reliable and accurate reports • Use advanced finance tools (Scenario manager, Goal seek and Solver) to planning for admission capacity and registration • Use Data Tools to separate texts, remove duplicates, find and replace, validate and consolidate data.
